CONTROVENTO is owned and managed by Ferruccio Tirone, who has almost thirty years of experience in the leisure tourism industry. His international experience in tourism includes more then fifteen years of Area Management for some of the major Italian Tour Operators whom, thanks to his successful product launches and product management have become key players on the market.

Additional senior experience was gained in his role as General Manager of an Italian niche Tour Operator where he strongly focused on developing the brand awareness of the Company and has played a key role in positioning it as the deluxe brand of the Group. As much as Southern Africa and the Indian ocean have always been Ferruccio’s “specialities”, during his Tour Operating carrier he has equally gained in-depth knowledge of South-East Asia, Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands, North & East Africa.

Simona Bonetti is the co-owner of the company and she is in charge of the Mice (Meeting, Incentives, Congress, Exhibition) division.

She enjoys over twenty years of experience within the Hospitality industry. She has covered different positions over the years, gaining in depth knowledge of sales, marketing & communications. Groups & Incentives are her absolute speciality. Her bright attitude, her skills, dedication and loyalty have played a crucial role throughout her carrier.
